Nancy Colwell Forrest
Nancy Colwell Forrest started her culinary career in the Northwest sixteen years ago. Finding the need to expand her experiences, she settled down in Boston, MA, and worked for two gourmet catering businesses. In 1990, she traveled to Paris, and studied at La Varenne Ecole de Cuisine, where she obtained further education in the culinary field. In 1992, she was appointed the opening chef for a small Mediterranean restaurant in Concord, MA. She returned to Portland in the spring of 1994 where she was opening pastry chef with Cory Schreiber at Wildwood Restaurant & Bar. In 1995 she was featured on the cooking series “Great Chefs Great Cities.”
